Heinrich Isaac, trans. Stratton

[follow the link to see a sample of the printed music]

This brief, reflective piece of unusual early Renaissance music originated with Heinrich Isaac. It has been carefully transcribed for modern brass quartet by New England trumpeter Don Stratton, using muted timbres for a programming change of pace. Scored for two Bb trumpets, horn in F and bass trombone, with a trombone substitute for horn part included.
